After seeing the really cool handle from Fat River Trading Company in this thread (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showth...iber-Knot-in-brush-Also-a-Wee-Scot-competitor) I had to buy one. My original plan was to buy a Muehle "Silvertip Fibre" synthetic knot, however it was starting to reach into the Simpson/Shavemac range by the time everything would be done so I decided to go with a TGN 22mm 2 Band knot instead and the handle is white teak wood. I'm really glad I did, the brush kinda has a Semouge Owners Club 2 Band vibe going on for me and I really dig it. I lathered it up and I think this brush and I are going to be the best of friends soon. I'll update the review tomorrow once I've used the brush.
A note on Curt from Fat River Trading Company: Honestly he is one of the most genuine and kind people I have purchased something from. He worked with me along the whole process of making the brush to ensure I would be satisfied with the final product, including when I made the switch to a different knot. His price was EXTREMELY reasonable, I would not hesitate at all to order from him again. (I am not affiliated with Curt at all, just an extremely satisfied customer)
