Culmak

I picked up this Culmak from ebay, in very nice shape:

I'm going to use it tonight, but maybe put it on a shelf to look at it and use it on occasion. I don't have a brush with an intact decal and I would like that to last.

Very soft bristles after I gave it a gentle wash.

that's a really pretty one.
I guess be careful around the label or do the "cover it with nail polish" thing?
anyone else?

thanks, I forgot that I read that once. But being label-less that the time, I didn't pay much attention.

I would like to know if there is a good way to protect the label without making a mess out of it.

I was wondering how old this Culmak may be, so I sent a email to the company. Got a reply in a couple of days, didn't resolve anything, but real nice for the rep to have looked into it and responded!

Hi,
Our longest serving employee (over 20 years cannot identify when this brush was produced; it was certainly more than 20 years ago. Sorry not to be of more help.
Best wishes

Over 20 years ago is only maybe the mid-80s. I guess I was hoping they had some old catalog or something...
