Culmak Knight Handle Replacement

My first boar brush was a Culmak Knight which has a lovely small knot whose luxurious nature didn't match it's hideous brown plastic handle, easily as ugly as the Wilkinson Sword brushes.
I also had a vintage Winsor horse and boar brush with a beautiful marquetry handle but a horrible knot which managed to be limp and scratchy at the same time with a big glue lump in the middle which poked your face.
The horrible gluey knot in the Winsor easily came away by soaking in boiling water, and the horrible plastic handle easily was removed with a couple of taps from a hammer.
Then I epoxied the lovely Culmak boar knot into the beautiful Winsor marquetry handle and voila - my first custom brush!
I know this isn't a particularly sophisticated restoration, but I'm very pleased with the result :)
