Crystal Platinum Chrome (Israeli?

I just used a new blade from a sampler pack I purchased from Vintage Blades this evening. It was the Crystal Platinum Chrome, which I believe is an Israeli blade. Nice blade, it was. I'm only a couple of months into shaving with DE razors, and have really grown to like Astra SP's. I've tried Feathers, which I liked but will re-visit a little further down the road. HATED the Sharks in the same sample pack. I was not too impressed by the 7 O'clock greens in the pack either. I will, however, re-visit them in the future as I get more comfortable with the whole process. I have yet to try the Merkur blades, or the Wilkinson Swords. So much gear...and only so many opportunities to shave.

Anyway...just dropping my two cents. Happy shaving.

Everywhere I read the crystals are the same ones that I have tried and loved, the ones I have were in blue and white wrapper with only super platinum written on the wrapper and blade. I also enjoy the 7 o'clock sharp edge (yellow box) and the 7 o'clock super platinum (black box).

That's exactly the blade I'm using. I just had my second shave with it today, and it was excellent. I think I will be ordering some more in the very near future.

Israeli Personna.. blue n white packs are chrome/ and platinum coated stated (MADE IN ISRAEL)

I also am a fan of the crystals, they are very sharp but still have a nice subdued smoothness for my beard.

I working my way through a 10-sampler pack I purchased from WCS. I have completed 17 shaves (on blade seven now) and am quite happy with this blade. I am getting some BBS shaves and this blade is easy to work with (do not to take special care not to mangle myself).

They work the best for me, bbs smooth and no irritation. I occasionally get a few weepers from Gillette blacks, never with the Crystals. Astras work well too, just not as nice as the Crystals for me.
