Crest White Strips..

I have used these a few times now. They have improved much. They have ones now that are not as slimy and stick to your teeth as opposed to when they first came out and slid all over.
I dont smoke but like my coffee. My teeth werent really stained but they werent exactly white either. Any body use them and have good or bad experiences?

I used them leading up to our wedding a couple years back (in the 'slimy, slide around on your' teeth formula days). They worked pretty well. I've got a root-canaled tooth up front that occasionally starts to turn gray, the strips bring it back pretty well. Only thing is a) the off-and-on sensitivity to cold that they cause, and b) I'm missing a molar filling right now and GOOD GOD if you ever want to see a flash of white and nearly collapse to the floor in an instant of pain that comes on so quick you don't have time to recognize it as pain, letting the gel get in that hole is my highly recommended way to do it.

But yeah, they made my teeth look nice for wedding pics

I am having good results with the new Advanced ones. I also had a missing filling years ago and something got down there and think I saw a glimpse of the afterlife in a flash of light.

Long enough that I know better, but honestly the whitestrips event was the only time it has ever bothered me. When I can find a dentist that will shut his/her yap, fix my mouth, and let me be on my merry way, I'll gladly go in. Until then, I'm not interested in being shamed and lectured by someone who wouldn't be in business if everyone did things "right".

I've had somewhat the same experience with dentists. It's like taking a flat tire in for repair and the tire dealer refusing to fix it unless you purchase four new rims.

I walked out on one and never went back. I went because of new insurance. Needless to say I didn't renew the insurance and went back to my former dentist whom I've gone to for 15 years.

Burns my gums a bit. Good ol' Hydrogen Peroxide works well. Tastes like stale water, but it works.

Mexican dentists are good, inexpensive, and don't lecture you. American dentists suck, even if your insurance is paying 100%.
