Cremo Cream revisited

I must've gotten a bad tube last year, which caused me to write them off. It was around the time they caved in to popular demand for a different scent and no parabens. So I chalked up the lousy performance and bland smell to that. But then I found the original ingredient list online, and compared it to the new formulation. They were basically the same, except for the parabens. So I just got a travel tube, and it's pretty much how I remembered it first time around. Different, but nice scent--bitter orange with a hint of sweet, maybe the papaya extract--and SLICK. In fact, it's so slick that I got carried away and careless, and gave myself a tiny weeper on the corner of my jaw. My prep has improved since I started wet shaving a few yrs ago, so pretty much anything I used back then performs even better now.

Great stuff. Highly recommended for quick shaves and travel.

I had a similar/sorta experience with Creamo, hated it at first, then came back to it, and now will use it as a travel cream (for it's ease of use without a brush). Not sure if it's just because of better technique, understanding, but It definatly has moved from don't like to ok.

It's great as a pre-shave also.
