Creme Rinse as a Shave cream? No...really.

I used to do it when I was a sloppy quick Bic shower shaver---grab creme rinse and use it as a shaving cream. :blushing:

I tried it again recently with my DE razor---plain old strawberry Suave creme rinse.

You know---it was pretty good.

No...really good.

No lather. :bored: BUT...it was very slippery/smooth, soothing, moisturizing and a terrific beard softener. No soapy feel at all.

After rinsing it off---wow, I'd gotten a BBS without much effort.

Wonder if anyone else has had this experience. I'ts got me looking for a CR with a fragrance I like. And the price...$1.50 for 16 oz? Hmmmmm...

I've also heard of folks using cream rinse as a pre-shave prep. Makes sense, as cream rinse is designed to make hair softer and fuller, right? :thumbup1:

Having always been a shower shaver when I used to use the goo I would substitute cream rinse if my can went dead. Now I use my nice creams I learned about here.
