Cracked Coticule

my coticule has had what looked like a hairline fissure in it till the start of last week when is has manifested into a crack not just on top hone surface but also on side so looks like a chunk may be lost . what do people recommend cut it of pluck it off and sand it smooth if cutting what type of saw?

Some people have sealed them with sealer...and lapped them with no ill effect as well. Pictures would definitely be helpful.

I had/have a simlar fissure on my La Grise, and I used CA Glue (super glue) to seal it. Not sure if this is the best thing to use, but it worked for me!

CA should work fine , then sand down the edge to smooth it out, lap the top. Should be fine.
I use the squeeze bottle of crazy glue to sorta 'inject' the glue into the fissure. Let it cure a good long while, maybe do it a few times to make sure the fissure is as sealed as possible.

This is the standard procedure.
