Couple of questions on Gillette New, please.

Are Gillette NEW British any different from American versions regarding shaving performances/aggressiveness ? American version has 0.58mm between its OC guard and a blade.

There is also Canadian made Gillette DE, and if I am not mistaken it is also Gillette NEW.

I have American one with "pat no. 1815745", "pat no. 1858316", "reissue pat no. 17567", and it's being said those which have all three pat numbers listed belong to early '30s last century. Is there a way to determine the exact year of production with this "reissue pat no." ?

I am no NEW expert but I tried all 3.

Now, this is my experience only that can vary if someone else does the same experiment.

The American NEW felt milder than the Canadian/British NEW. When I say milder, I'm not saying super mild. The difference is light but there's one. Out of the 3, the British is my favorite (most aggressive to me).

As for the years, I think there's a page in Wiki showing the PAT no. vs the years... If not, someone will know... I usually look at this page but I'm usure if your razor is listed
