Counterfeit razors?

I bought a pack of 5 Personna's from the 99cent store for 99cents (or a $1 now)

I'm pretty new in this business of wet shaving and only have a pack of Feathers so I figure lets see what the surrounding area has to offer before I go out in the internet and grab something.

The wrapping looks authentic, but when it comes to the razor dispenser box and razors, there was nothing distinguishing. The blades were not individually wrapped, they have double arrows printed on the blades and no other print. And nothing written on the plastic dispenser except for the bottom saying "Storage for used blades"

I looked around on the internet for images of these razors and packing and I seen examples where wording is printed on the razors and the plastic dispenser box.. I was wondering if anyone encountered this before? Is it authentic? a copy?

Still going to shave with it, got it sitting in the Barbersid

You soak new blades in Barbicide? There are a lot of different razor dispensers out there. The chances are fairly good that these are not fakes.

I think store brand (as opposed to the red-pack Israeli) Personnas are made by ASR (American Safety Razor), and they come in a pack just like the one you describe. They are widely available. What does it say on the cardboard on the back of the blister pack. Sometimes that will provide useful information.

I can't imagine why you would soak new blades in barbicide.

Got pics?

Yeah the packaging looked real.. and It sort of weirded me out that the blades were not individually wrapped.. Maybe Feather spoiled me...

I don't recall that new blades sold in a dispenser were ever wrapped. Since there appears to be no country of origins marking on the dispenser, gather it was made in the U.S.
