Could we do a "bottle split" of the Penhaligon's Anthology Extract of Limes EDT?

Would there be any interest in this? The stuff costs $95 plus shipping and they give you a bottle that's 100 mL. I think a lot of people would like to have a much smaller amount at a much lower price.

So, if we got, say, 5-10 guys who were interested in the fragrance, each could spend $10-20 instead of a hundred, and get 10-20 mL instead of 100.

One of us could purchase the stuff, and buy a bunch of small glass atomizers. When the juice arrived, decant it into the smaller atomizers and mail them out. The other guys just PayPal the main guy the cost of their portion of the juice plus cost of the atomizer and shipping.

What do you think? Doable?

I would be interested if we could keep the cost at or (preferably) below $30 for a decent amount. Looks like that wouldb e a 20 - 25 mL sample.

I have been wanting to find a Limey scent to wear, why not?

I would only be interested if the decant size was quite small. I have to spread my fragrance budget around as much as possible.

I'm a Lime Scent Lover. But, as with most citrus scents, I haven't found one with good longevity. How well does this stuff last?

I'm not sure. In the main, my guess is it burns off pretty quickly. However, based on the little spray I got on my wrist @ Saks I could still smell it on my skin several hours later. It was faint, but most definitely there.

If this is true, this might be the way to go. I don't know how to find it on the site, though. I gave up after it seemed like my computer froze.

I'll try again later today. If I can get it there for a reasonable price, I'd rather do that than organize the group buy, and maybe others who would be interested can go there, too. I'll let you know if I have any success.

I don't know how you did this. When I searched for Penhaligon's again, it finally loaded a page, but according to the page I got, they only carry three Penhaligon's scents: Opus, Castile, and Hamman Bouquet.
