What's new

Could it be worth a try?

Don't have pics, but I stumbled across a newish Italian made marble handled brush that I think is black badger for $18. Brush was only marked with a sticker that had a three letter abreviated name, but I forgot it.

Lady said it was old, but I don't think it was. Anyway, worth a try?

There is a faux marble handle brush called Swissco, made in Italy, with black badge hair, sells for about $30, but I have not tried it. I do not like black badger very much. If you like it and it fits your budget, go for it, but I would pass, and get a nice boar if I wanted a <$20 brush.

It's always worth a try

I always say if you haven't tried it it's worth a try. How else do you know if it works for you or not?

That said, I'm very happy with my current brush and not looking to replace it so it will probably be a while before I try another. Ultimately, you have to make the call based on your situatation and preferences. If my budget was tight and I was still shopping brushes I'd probably give it a shot.
