Vintage Butterscotch Simpson. I can never remember what model this is. I want to call it an Emperor, but it's not. It's bigger than the biggest Emp. Captain I think? It's a nice soft hair, but not very dense (Not sparse but not dense), and high loft, so not my kinda brush. Handle isn't cracked, but has some crazing on the bottom and minor chips going on. It's pretty beat up in general. Knots in good enough shape to use, or a great reknot candidate. 24mm -> $45
EverReady 750 with a maggard 70/30 mixed bulb knot. Great brush but I have 20 of these knots in fan (which I prefer). $25
Vintage Rooney Boar (I think it's NOS). Immaculate handle. You won't find a better example. It was actually still in some kind of plastic packaging when I bought it, but that was so old and brittle that I removed it and tossed it. $30
Simpson Best Duke 2. Seems like a good one. Nice example of best hair. Hasn't shed a hair. $50
Somersot era? Chubby 2 best. Loftier and not as dense as modern Chubby's. Pretty brush, but I prefer the moderns (or older vintages). $95
Leeds Pure Badger In marblescotch and clear. Literally just bought this because it's such a cool handle. It's ~20mm and could easily take a 22mm... 24mm is much more of a question mark, and I wanted it for a 24mm knot, so here it is. $25
Vintage Butterscotch Simpson W4L. Hairline crack that seems stable up near the knot. Also a shedder... like a dying shedder. brushing it over my palm knocks several hairs out. Really cool handle though. 25mm For Reknotting. $30
Vintage Butterscotch Simpson 26. 20mm Great condition both knot and handle. May have been NOS when I got it (been used a couple times). Hair is soft and very lofty though. Some price sticker residue/gunk on the base I haven't cleaned off (should come off easily with some alcohol or even soap and water). $50
Modern Simpson Duke 1 Pure handle I reknotted with the core of a vintage 56 Best Badger knot. Very soft, set at a nice low loft. Nice little brush maybe a fancy travel brush? $30
Strops
Spanish HH Cordovan strops with vintage Linen secondary. Leather on Both is ~2.75" wide. (Linen 2.5")
One with the ruler on it is ~20" on the long side and ~15.5" on the short side (From the bottom of the hardware). Other is ~19" long side and ~16" short side. As you can see each is a little longer on the LEFT edge... I (right handed) use this for gripping(with my left hand) and that makes the right side length be effectively usable stropping surface. So these have ~15x2.75" stropping surfaces. Linen is 2.5" wide and are ~17" and 18" long (from bottom of hardware again) respectively.
These are really nice pieces of both linen and leather but without the fit and finish a real strop maker gives (on their $200 cordovan strops) Get yourself a real cordovan and linen strop for a couple Jacksons instead of a couple Benjamins and you wont have to cry if you ever nick it.
$45 each, $40 if you're buying anything else with it.
Vintage Horsehide Strop J Tarnow, Toronto. Nice thick piece of leather. Was a little dry. I treated it with some neatsfoot oil. One little nick up near the horse impression, but it's not noticeable in use. Linen has been ran through the wash once, but is still pretty dirty. Doesn't damage the edge, but you may want to give it a couple more washes.

Vintage Red Imp strop. Same as above Was pretty dry. Treated with neatsfoot. Little scratch near the bottom, again not noticeable in use. Linen is a replacement and again Washed once, doesn't damage the edge, but you may want to run it through a few more times. Also some light fraying at edges.
