Confused with wilkinson blades,,,, Help with the clarification.

Could anyone help me with the confusion I have with the gillette wilkinson blades vs the wilkinson classic blades?
Also, is there a preference or in quality between them?
I took the liberty of posting the 2 wilkinson blades as they are packaged quite differently, so I am left to believe that they must be different.

Definitely not the same blades. The Gillette Wilkinsons are made for the India market, where Gillette happens to hold rights to the Wilks brand. They used to be made in India, but production appears to have shifted to China. Other Wilkinsons are made for Energizer, which also owns Schick and ASR. Mostly those used be made in Germany, but I think some are now made in USA.

Preference? YMMV. Try them and let us know what you think.

In Germany I bought some Wilkies in a black box as well. The wrapper looked identical to the German Wilkies posted above.

I just got a pack of the Indian Wilkies and it says they are made in China. Is that true for all packaged like that, or did I get ripped off?
