Comparison of sizes

I have the C&E Best Badger Brush (my only one) and am looking to get another quality (silvertip) brush. I am looking at a Savile Row or Kent BK4.

Can anyone help me with comparing the sizes of the C&E compared to the BK4 and/or any of the Savile Row ones?

I'm not sure about the C&E brush, but any of the medium Saville Row brushes are very nice. Now the Kent BK4 is really top of the line. IMHO its the perfect shaving brush. :thumbup1:

Chris, That is perfect! I am interested in the BK4 and the 3824 - those are the two I am torn between.

Looks like they are similar size.

Any thoughts between the two? Which do you prefer? Reasons? The BK4 could be had cheaper but I hear such great things about the 3824. Then again the BK4 gets good reviews as well (and love the black - looking at it from Shaving Shack). Decisions, decisions.

Any advice or thoughts between the two is appreciated.

Again, thanks for the line up - beautiful brushes!

I haven't used my BLK4 since I got my SR 3824. For me the 3824 is the perfect brush. It works equally well on creams and soaps. It has ample backbone for face lathering and the knot is very dense. I still like my BLK4 but I used it mainly for creams as I found it a bit floppy, but it is still a fine brush. The 3824 did win Brush Wars for a reason. For me it is a fantastic brush and if I had to choose one brush to use for rest of my life it would be the 3824. I highly recommend it.

Well, I think that makes my mind up for me!

Right now, can't justify getting both of them (but I love the BLK4 look).

Really looking to get the DE89L you have in your last pic. That or the R89 Muhle.

Looking all over for the DE89L but can't find it...killing me. Don't know if it is worth the extra money for the R89...

I have the Mühle R89 as well, same head but the handle is just a bit lighter that the DE89L. I prefer the DE89L, it is a great shaving tool. They have a couple DE89L razors for sale here.
