Sorry for your loss..... Celulite scales shattered?

Not shattered, a little scuffed up around the pins though. I used cupped washers and they're too high profile compared to the tang pin. I also cut the pin too long so it bent while peening. Overall it looks like a child threw it together. I need to cut the pin back off and try it again with smaller washers and a shorter pin, I'm just concerned about scuffing the scales worse than I already have. At this point I think I'd be better off sending it, and my other problem razors, to Alfredo for professional results.

I’m ordering a GD this week I really enjoy honing so I want a near shave ready razor to practice getting one shave ready rather than taking a dull razor from scratch. I screwed up one razor with too coarse a stone already. So I’m statting finest this time to reduce the chance of damage. If I mess up, I’m not out much and if successful I’ll have a good shaver. It seems a lot of people swear by GD.

And I was successful and got a good shaver along with the experience.
