Ever see a MM cob crack wide open when smoking it? I gave a friend a MM cob and he said it slipt down the sides. I thought he smoked it too fast and got the bowl so hot it cracked. Does that sound about right?

Must have really been pulling hard because I've had mine too hot to touch and it hasn't cracked.
But the first thing I would think of.
Also, got it wet, or maybe smoked it too much so it was wet from smoking, or maybe it was damaged when it was new... how long did you have it?

Not long, but I had just never heard of that. Mine smoke fine and seem to have no problems.
