Cleaning NOS Tech

I recently purchased a NOS travel tech. It came in a zippered leather case, which had leather bands holding everything in place. Unfortunately, this marred the finish of the razor head (you can see in the metal where the strap was holding the head).

How can I clean this? I'm hesitant to use something like Maas since it is a NOS razor.

If it's just dirt then soapy water will clean it. But the razor is nickel plated so you may have a rub in the plating. You have no choice but to try and buff it out, maybe a jewelers cloth to start. Then maybe toothpaste in a soft damp cloth. After that if you still have the marks then it's Maas to the rescue. These little Tech razors are not really expensive and most of them are nos. I think a lot were sold but few were used.
