Chino Suggestions for Work

Hi,
Been a long time since I have been on here, but I figured this might be a good forum in which to ask this:

I am looking for casual-dress pants for work. This is restaurant work so they will have to take a beating (not quite sure how much as this will be a new job..) So I can probably get by with cheap pants.. They have to be black tho, and I prefer a decent thickness to the pants. They also have to be accommodating for someone of a husky/bigger build (240lb 6'-1", but well distributed.)

Any particular suggestions as to what brand might work well? I was thinking perhaps Dockers... They have to be available at department stores..

You might also look into a more durable pant like a Dickies or Ben Davis. They sort of look like chinos/Dockers. They are pretty cheap and are super durable. Watch the fit though; they tend to slide down unless you have a butt.

If you are able to wait until near the end of the year then look at Brooks Brothers chinos. They go on sale then and can be had for about $50.

JC Penney has chinos (St Johns Bay?) at a good price and reasonably light yet hard wearing. Problem is with black is it will fade/wear into a charcoal color in time.
