Curious if there's an association between capsaicin and razor/blade preference. Ideally I'd have people rate both but this isn't going to be too scientific regardless.

I have been sprayed with pepperspray, it would be a horrible aftershave no matter how mild a razor you used :001_tongu

I was down wind of bear spray once...muy piquante!

I appreciate a ton of heat sometimes, but it's got to have flavour with it too. I ate a pepper off a bush in east Africa once, it was a lot like getting kicked in the forehead by a horse, that was a bit much, almost like being bear sprayed...

Spicy food is nice but not so nice the next day when you need to hit the toilet :barbershop_quartet_ I voted High heat, aggressive razor.

Now that you have our curiosity piqued would you care to regale is with the tale?
It wasn’t the spray to the face that was so bad, it was the not leaning forward far enough in the shower that really made me panic.
And may I ask how you came to be pepper sprayed?
I was incredibly careful about that both times I got sprayed

C'mon now. You can't leave us hanging.

While we're on the subject how, pray tell, did @mcee_sharp wind up downwind of some errant bear spray? Are these common occurrences for B&B members? At least make something up ya'all.

As to the OP's question... for me no more capsaicin than you'd find in a roasted jalapeño and I order my Thai medium spicy. I usually shave with a molder DE, but I own a few aggressive razors that I keep in rotation as well. Finally, how aggressive are my straight and Artist Club?

I put myself through POST/police academy

I enjoy hot peppers and hot razors. Just not all the time.

I like a variety in my mix of of both peppers and razors, so I think that means the "chili theory" holds for me.

I'm in federal law enforcement, i got sprayed at the federal law enforcement training center and then my agency decided it didn't count since we use a different brand so they sprayed us again

The bear spray was during a bear safety coarse. I was working on a field project where there were bears all over the place. The instructor misjudged the wind and a few of us got gassed.

Not sure how it compares to mace or pepper spray, but do not recommend!
