Stainless Steel Razor Reccomendation

Hello everyone been using my Rockwell 6c and really been liking it but I knew I should have bought it in the stainless steel version because this morning is broke as I was fighting a new blade on. So my question is what would anyone recommend another razor needs to be stainless steel and preferably adjustable because I go against the grain and sometimes get irritation if the blade is too aggressive so looking for something that's adjustable and can do both? Thanks

I'm assuming you aren't interested in a 6s?

I understand your desire to get another adjustable razor. But if you want something in stainless, it can get pretty pricey. You might get more suggestions if we knew about what kind of razor aggression you like. What plate did you prefer using with your 6c?

Can you share which part broke? Also what plate do you use normally? What is your budget?

Just some general feedback without knowing what your situation is:

Adjustable stainless run 100+ but you could get a Gillette non stainless vintage for around the same price as a 6c. I would recommend DAPPERSTUDIOCC on Etsy for a vintage Gillette in working order for a fair price.

If you want to spend over a hundred on a stainless adjustable, cheapest is probably the 6s. Best prices on non adjustable razors are from Razorock. Lupo and game changer are good models. They offer several plates for each and have a chart showing the aggression.

Doesn’t Rockwell now offer lifetime guarantee on 6c as well. I’d just email them and get the replacement part for free.

If wanting SS adjustable though, it would be hard to beat the 6S, that’s like $120 and there are always coupons.

As others have mentioned, adjustable SS gets pricey quick so need to know the budget

For what it's worth, I had the 6C and one of the plates got pitted. Rockwell replaced it and I only had to pay shipping.

I have the 6S and it's made in the US and a better product IMO. No issues with it whatsoever, so it's a good option if you wanted to change. The Rockwell Game Changer is a good SS razor. You might also look at the OliWorks M3terorite. It's getting a lot of love from this forum.

Good luck.

Email Rockwell, I'm sure they'll take care of you.

In terms of stainless, The Razorock bbs oc is my favorite razor and built like a tank.
