Chikuhodo Shaving Brushes

Has anyone heard of or used the chikuhodo brushes from Japan? They have a range of brushes, including one version using grey squirrel hair for bristles. Anyone know of this maker?

While researching for another article, I came across of information on the use of squirrel hairs including grey. Here is a company that displays shaving brushes in Badger.

Now one hair type that was discussed much more as a Badger hair substitute in the cosmetic world for kabuki brushes was goats hair.

From the first link:

You can feel sensitive bubbling when the [brush] is put on your face.

Gotta love that sensitive bubbling!
