I don't think I've ever had sour cream topping on cheesecake...It's possible that I always have, but just didn't realize it...God, I hope I didn't ruin it!

That was how my grandma always made her cheese pies. Oh man, so good. I doubt you ruined it, but you might have made it less amazing.

Very nice! My only mis-step was not putting sugar in the whipped cream, but other than that, it was a huge hit with the Mrs.
Needless to say, we didn't even put a dent in it last night, so we're bringing it along to our friends' house tonight to make a bit more progress in finishing it off.
Store-bought cheesecake is generally yucky for me too. However, some good homemade cheesecake in moderation is something special.

I know you guys are probably going to trash me BUT I am more than half way through an italian cheesecake purchased from sams club made by the cheesecake factory.
Tastes pretty good to me, but I need to try Juniors next time I am in NYC.
