Cheapest Art of shaving vendor?

I'm looking to buy AoS Sandalwood with bowl but think that $40 plus shipping is a tad bit on the high side.....

Where do YOU buy your Art of shaving products for a reasonable price?

I did some quick searching online, but could not find anything cheaper. If the soap and bowl is too much, just buy the soap refill. For me, the soap is worth the price. I'd get the bowl anyway. I have one now and can see that it will last for many years. I have had this one for about 6 years so far and it still looks really good. It is currently holding a puck of TOBS lavender.

I plan on replacing the TOBS with AOS when it runs out.

Yep discounts on AOS soaps are hard to come by.
Best bet is sign up for the AOS mailing list on their website They discount it a few times a year.
You just missed out on a 20% off deal from them about 2 weeks ago.
Otherwise, $36-40 is pretty much the price everywhere.

Whoa, thanks for the tip with the newsletter. I'm gonna wait as i have a hard time justifying $40 + shipping for a soap that i don't know if like it in first place, so unless i find someone who wants to part with his soap and dish and wants to trade for a nice Trumper Rose cream or something in that regard, i guess i will pass for now.

Why are you going to pay $15 for a wood bowl that's worth $3?
I would just get the soap and put it in a bowl from the Dollar Store, save yourself a bunch of cash right there.

Once in a great while it is discounted through Amazon, the vendor escapes me though.

The AOS bowls are my favorite of all the manufacturers.

There is a vendor on ebay from Hong Kong that has a good price on refills and the bowl. I think the vendor is called strawberrynet. They had the cheapest price on refills, but I think the bowl is still around $40 though.

this guy have reason , for me the bowl is to small for a good lather go tgo k mart and buy a good bowl , I use a honingware french white 16 oz this bowl is perfect for only $ 5 .
