Cheap aftershave alternative recommendation

I made a purchase from an online vendor and they sent me a sample of Edwin Jagger's Aloe Vera aftershave and I LOVED it. I went to buy some and found its downside: $36/bottle. Are there any aftershaves with a similar smell and smaller price tag out there?

Can you describe the scent? Is it a splash or balm?

It's a balm. The scent...I have no idea how to describe a scent . It's kind of a "green", subtle scent; not forest-green but I honestly have no idea how else to describe it. It probably wasn't much help, I know :/
