CE Best badger brush help!

So I have been using the CE Best badger brush for a while now. One thing I don't like about it, is that is seems very "sloppy".

When I apply my favorite creams, it just seems to go flat , and not "scrub" the lather into my face. It just kinda flops around.

Is this normal of this brush? Should I consider a different kind?

The C&E BBB is a little floppy. Longer lofts tend to be floppy especially in badger because the shaft is more flexible.

The BBB lacks a bit of density, which leads to it flopping a bit. On the cheap you could toss a rubber band around the base of the knot to firm it up a bit, but I could never dissuade you from a different brush. I recommend a giving a Rooney a run if you are looking for more backbone. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on you liking the brush.

Sounds like you need to try a good boar. Super stiff shafts, but soft tips. Scrubby without being scratchy.

Have you heard of the Semogue 1305? Take a look at vintagescent.com, they have it for a good price. I almost use this brush solely now. It gets more use than a B&B LE 08 Kent.
