Castle Forbes

I know it has been said before, but Castle Forbes is just and incredible cream! I was on a business trip the last couple of days and I was using a little rubber bowl to lather in and all I can say is - Holy Lather Explosion, Batman!

It doesn't matter if I'm at home using a nice warm scuttle or on the road using a little collapsable dish, the stuff just lathers like a champ and gives such great cushion and protection.

I'm not sure if I like the Lime or the Lavendar scent best, they are both fantastic. The Cedar and Sandalwood is growing on me, but not a favorite yet.

Combine the pre-shave treatment with the lather and you get a shave that is tough to beat, IMO.

It is wonderful stuff. I had a big tub of the lime but gave it to my brother to have cause I'm nice like that. (kinda wish I didn't)

I'm normally a soap guy but love the Castle Forbes creams. Great scents, tons of later, really luxurious shave.

Looking to be Sainted? That's one seriously generous act of kindness.

I've had Castle Forbes Lavender for about a month now. It truly is amazing stuff. I'm looking to add more of their stuff to my collection.

Dear John,

I have to agree.
I could add more and more wonderful things, but simply will not.
Castle Forbes is, in my opinion, so MUCH better than everything else, that no further commentary is necessary.
Castle Forbes is the number one shaving cream brand.
Nothing compares.
Outstanding.

Castle Forbes is awesome. I love my lime cream and I want to order the lime aftershave and the lavender cream as well! Damn you ADs!

I got rid of all my other creams (about a dozen) except Castle Forbes, Crabtree & Evelyn, Penhaligons, and Tabula Rasa dark lavender which smells wonderfully spicy but doesn't shave as well as the others. Still almost entirely a tallow soap user--and got rid of just as many soaps--but I do like these.

Aye sir. I have followed a similar path. I don't even use the C&E sweet almond oil cream anymore. NOTHING works like CF on my beard. At least as far as creams go. I champion it unreservedly.

Definitely a winner. I particularly enjoy the cedar/sandalwood. More cedar than sandalwood, to be sure, but a very nice scent, and top shelf performance.

One thing that is pricey, but don't mind spending on. IMO its worth every penny and then some. You also really don't need that much to get enough lather for a 4 pass shave.

I've got about 40 tubs and tubes of cream at home and I don't have any Castle Forbes. It sounds like something I need to remedy quick smart.

The Castle Forbes is a winner, for sure. I love the lavender I have. Great cushion, excelllent scent.

Let us know how you like it.

If you had 40 tubs of CF in its own dedicated freezer, that'd be something! I like CF a lot but found it very wearing on brushes. If they softened it a little, took out the parabens and halved the price it'd be a regular buy. I use MWF but when I'm in the mood for a cream I usually go for RSCo

But if they did all that, then it'd just be any other cream.:thumbdown

Can anyone recommend an online retailer that sells it? I found a couple just via Google but they wanted to charge more for postage than for the cream and the cream isn't cheap.
