Canned gel shelf life ???

Hi Gents,

I found a Nivea shave gel that I probably bought around October 2007.

I love it,but I just forgot to use it

Anyway, there is no expiration date on it, so do you guys have any clue on a canned gel (NOT foam) shelf life?

Can't say I know the answer. However, based on past experience, I think the propellant seeps out molecule by molecule until none is left before the gel goes bad.

that stuff usually lasts for many years. i have a can of Gillette gel from 2001 that I am still working on.... Its still just as good as the day I bought it.

I believe the canned stuff has no shelf-life, but rather a half-life...

Some of the gels work rather well.

Had a couple of shaves; it went very well

Good lather, good shave, my skin was left in good condition
