Canadian Tech with unusual handle

I´ve found that Canadian Tech. I´ve never seen before that handle. All 3 Techs have the triangle slots, so they are all 1939-1945 made. You can see, that the Canadian Techs have a different knurling as the US-Tech. But only the right one has this different neck on the handle. Any ideas?

Fascinating. That is really unusual! Just when we think we've seen all the different variations, you find a new one. Very nice Achim!

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen one like that either. Does that new handle seem like it's a single piece instead of a separate neck that's pressed into the handle? It looks to me like the groove between the neck and the handle is just a milled groove instead of a seam, and it seems like it would have been more trouble than it was worth to try to line up the fluting along the handle with the neck if they were two separate pieces.

Wow im going to have to check a few of mine, good eye Achmin. If your asking the ? I know its going to be a tough one, Who know if a worker at gillette did this to throw a job, thats what makes thing rare and worth some Money, an error in production.

what I can see with my magnifying glass I would say the handle is one piece

Just checked, I have about 5/6 Canadian Tech handles though only one or two came with triangle holes, none of them have this neck pattern. It looks like this is more likely an error in production (as Ervargasny said) than it is a Canadian design.
