Canada Post Shipping Costs

I just answered a question from overseas.

How much to ship a razor to Spain from Canada. I checked regular delivery as I know expedited or Priority would require a first born or a favourite arm.

Box 6" L X 2-1/2" W X 1-1/2" T weighing 1 lb would cost:

I haven't figured that one out yet... It's cheaper shipping to the US from Canada than from Canada to Canada...

I think they send someone to deliver it personnaly... That would justify the cost

I hate to say it, but alot of times when im ordering stuff, I just order from the US companies as its a hell of alot cheaper then ordering here.

Yes, and usually faster too.

Four months ago, I ordered 15 lbs of green coffee beans from Sweet Marias in California the same day I ordered a gasket and a water screen form my Gaggia Espresso machine.

The coffee got to me quicker and cheaper than the machine parts

It's $34.03. Yep, Postes Canada really needs that last three cents to get it to Spain.

I just posted in the USPS rant thread about that. It would be cheaper to post it to a friend in the US, and then have them post it back to Canada, than to post it direct Canada-Canada. *le sigh*
