Can anyone speak to the Caravela vs. TSN LE 2012? (both Semogue)

Hi! I have one of the TSN LE 2012 Semogue brushes, and it is just breaking in. So far I love it! Great backbone, but the tips are soft and getting better day by day. I love the flowthrough too.

At any rate, I have been coveting a Caravela for a while now, and may still get one. I was just wondering if anyone has both of these brushes, and if so, how do they compare?

Thanks in advance!

I have a TSN LE 2012 and I had a Caravela. The Caravela felt stiffer to me with a lot less splay. Both brushes give a good scrub without having a rough feel on the face. The Caravela has a more substantial handle but the TSN LE is very ergonomic. I traded the Caravela because it had too much backbone. Both brushes have very good flw through. I have some pics of the Caravela on my Profile page if you can't find a pic.

I like my TSN. It's an interesting brush, soft tips but incredible backbone. Definitely something you should try to see if you like it at least a few times.

I ended up trading it away after about a week. I got it used so I assume it was broken in already. My face is way too sensitive for stiff brushes. I keep my TSN and a 1305 around for boars, and feel the 1305 was a little softer than even the Caravela in regards to backbone. I just couldn't hang with it. It was much stiffer and harsher on my face than the TSN. In all honesty, I'm not sure just how often I'll use my TSNs, but at the very least I will have them in my collection.
