C. O. Bigelow Bay Rum cologne?

Has anyone here tried/smelled this particular brand of bay rum? The reviews on Bigelow's website make it sound promising.

It's been a long time since I used it, but I remember citrus, spice and smoke. When I first tried it, the wife thought I'd been smoking.

It's really not bad, and I think it's worth a shot. The bay rum aftershave balm from Bigelow is good, too.

I think it's ok. All of the Bigelows are "synthetic" to me, the Bay Rum just as much as the others. It's fine for me for work days, but it's not a "dress up" thing at all.
I don't know best of bay rums, I've been disappointed the few I've tried (i.e., colognes or EdT).
- Ogallala is more fleeting, to me, than their AS Splash, which doesn't last all that long itself
- Gilbert Henry -- I like the balm a lot; the notes in the cologne end up a different ratio than the balm. The orange (bitter orange?) is FAR more up front in the cologne, and harsh to my nose. I like the bay and the woods, I just wish the citrus scent were either better or more subdued in the cologne.
- Bigelow.

I have not tried Meehan's, and I know not what else to try beyond that.
