C&E/EJ Best Badger Brush

My wife set me up with a inexpensive brush last year in a starter kit for me to start shaving with. She wasn't sure I would like it, so she didn't spend much on it. I think it is synthetic. It is getting thinner and thinner. I am going to stick with the wet shaving. She is wanting to get me one for Christmas. I think the C&E/EJ Best Badger Brush is the way to go. Good quality for a decent price. Where is a good place for her to get this online? I'm probably going to get some Gentlemens Refinery aftershave. Many Thanks,

are they not being made anymore? the only ones i could find on amazon are $45, where they were supposed to be about $35. Is there a comparable brush to this for the value?

for that kind of money..why not try a Rooney 3/1 for $39.99
i bought a small EJ bbb which is just a smaller version of the CE brush. if i had to do it all over again id get the Rooney (IIRC wasnt available last year)

I can't vouch for the Rooney, but I do have the C&E BBB (E&J BBB in medium). The C&E is a really nice brush. Mine looks great after a year of use and also does a great job facelathering with either soap or cream.

C&E or Rooney - you probably can't go wrong either way.
