Got some old Winchester Silver Tips I like to walk by, open up the box and look at em’. every once in awhile.

I still have a few Silver Tips in .357 that we were required to carry because that was what was issued. When I got the 1911 the Silver Tips would get set-back after unloading the one in the chamber when I got home, then loading it again the next day...maybe because they didn't have a cannelure. As you know...bullet set-back can cause increased chamber pressure.

Don't know if it is the same now, but they were just fine in revolvers.

Local GS won't ream it to .357, but I might. Though no need, really.
