Evening,
Well I've been shaving DE for a while now, rather mixed bag of results but its all a welcome learning curve plus kinda nice to spend time perfecting your shaves.
However have been having irritation from the brushes.
I started off with a very cheap & cheerful Pure badger from one of the UK suppliers and got quite decent results.
Comfortable shaves that sort of thing, so decided to treat myself to a rather expensive and luxurious Super badger from TOBS, feels amazingly soft and produces great close & comfortable shaves but leaves my skin very irritated.
Thought i would see if a boar brush made any difference and took a chance on a cheap supermarket one and it produced a similar result in terms of closeness but still the irritation remained.
So thought sod it and went back to my first cheap brush decent results without the irritation, might have to try a body shop synthetic over the weekend to see if things can be improved.
Primary reason I bought the expensive brush was I like my brushes small and manageable, don't like a brush which feels like a mop in my hands .
Any suggestions ?.
