I am looking for a new brush. Need a larger knot size. Looking at Penworks, Rooney, Shavemac. Need a brush that lathers both soap and cream. Any advice. I am leaning towards super badger/finest grade. Thank you for any and all feedback.

What's your price range? Good brushes range between $50 and $250, so knowing your parameters would help.

My price range is up to $100.00. Just starting out in the career, and looking for bang for my buck.
I have a Shavemac Silver-tip and like it. You can get those for less than that. However, my experience with brushes covers the Shavemac and a Edwin Jagger, which is a good brush too.

I have a small best badger Edwin Jagger. The 19mm knot is a little small for me and I would like a larger handle. I have liked the reviews on the shavemacs.
