Are all "Made in England" flare tip razors considered to be "Flare Tip Rockets?" If not, how do you tell the difference?

There's also a Flair Tip Superspeed, so Made in England, but there's not the distinctive gap between the knob and the handle. ( i.e. the same mechanism as the US Superspeed with no "moving" gap )

I don't think so because there are English Flare/Blue/Red tips that have the TTO knob fixed and does not move up/down as it's opened. There might be others, I'm sure you'll find out soon.

So if mine has a gap when closed, and the gap goes away when opened, it's a Flare Tip Rocket?

There's a English Blue Tip on the bay now going for like $200 B/I/N in excellent shape.
Does anyone know which Flair Tip Rocket is harder to find, the one with pointed end caps or the the one without?

Seems to be about 50/50 (to me, anyway), tho I bet Gillette made more of the pointed cap variety.
