I picked up a british flare tip rocket at the flea market today for $5.

Can anyone give me a date range for this razor?

I´m not sure, but I believe it´s the same range like the US-flare tip: 1954-1966

You're right. None of British Gillettes have date/code stamp. It makes them more mysterious than they are .

They didn't date stamp ANY of the Brits whether they be Aristorcrats, Techs, Rockets......

Makes it really hard to date. In term of the Rockets, can really only go on when their US cousins appears and disappeared.

Using some resources like some of the print ads etc that people have, some models have been narrowed down ( a bit ) .

It seems that the records kept by Brits wasn't as "thorough" as USA, makes it a bit of fun dating them

If all you find is US, you know the US, if all you find is Brits you know about Brits. ( Guess which ones I find )

( Then again, I did managed to get in first on identifying a US TV Special last week here.....sheesh, the "useful" information I've learnt here )

Hah one of the lucky, if I were to find a decent Red Tip Rocket, I would probably look like this guy here
