Okay I haven't had a lot of free time of late to work and when I did well the stuff that was occupying my time had taken up my garage.
So here it is the blade is actually from my first ever restore but those scales were slightly too clunky and heavy for such a delicate blade, now she feels a lot better with these Walnut scales (CA finish) Horn wedge (still trying to play with materials) with Brass fixings and Brass, Copper, Abalone shell inlay. It's a bit more of a simple design but i just wanted to test dot inlay first.
Now the faults unfortunately one side the large hole slipped slightly off center which was rather frustrating so it has impacted the neatness a bit "i did make a center hole with a nail but i think i will be drilling right through with a small drill bit next time.
The last picture shows my previous and first dot inlay at the top, A 5/8 Kropp in microfastners waiting to be properly fixed and the wedge crafted (Mahogany wood with brass, aluminium and Mother of pearl inlay), I think I will be sending it off to be honed and then possibly sell/trade it to feed my need for a good brush.
