Hi,i have just bought a cut throat razor on ebay and the only thing that
is written on it says "BÖHLERSTAHL".
When i search the word here in B&B there are no threads or posts with that.
Anyone who knows,speak freely and truthfully to me,i can take it =) i think
As i am a newbee to this i might been taken for a ride but it did not cost much at all and it looks nice to me anyway.

Send it to a pro and have them evaluate the edge and sharpen it for you. Looks to be a decent razor.

BÖHLERSTAHL is steel made by the BÖHLER Company in Austria.

They have a reputation for very high quality steel, used it is used in a wide variety of applications including rifle actions.

I would suspect that the razor, when honed up, will shave very nicely.

I have a BÖHLERSTAHL in a 5/8th's size that i really like a lot. It's a very stiff blade with a fantastic cutting edge and is a great shaver.

It was one of my first razors and i dismissed it because the scales didn't fit it as well as they should have. i recently came back to it with great success. i always just assumed it was German blade, it's nice to see the origin.

Actually two german brothers, starting the steel production in Vienna/Austria in 1870 and returning to germany later on. I have found this if you really want to know all details.
