Blue Moon Vintage Ale - Proximity

While out last night I got the chance to taste Blue Moon Vintage Ale - Proximity

It was the best beer I've ever tasted. If you can call it a beer, it is brewed with white grapes. Has a ABV of 8.5% but did not taste like a strong beer at all. Made my Coors Light taste like river water.

The downside.... $30 for a 22oz bottle at the bar we were at. A friend of mine ordered it and most of us just HAD to taste it.

Anyone else tried this before? Apparently Blue Moon makes several Vintage Ales.

I have avoided Blue Moon since I niticed the Michelob connection, but I admit that I am curious.

Yeah I don't know. $30.00 is a bit steep for anything from Blue Moon.

it undoubtedly could be found cheaper at a retail store. This was at a bar where everything is marked up pretty steep. my bottle of Coors Light was $3.50
