Blade Selection For Blade Buffing

Have done blade buffing twice now and am extremely impressed with the results. My neck and chin have never been this smooth. Wow.

Generally speaking, what approach do people find best with blade (and razor) selection for buffing? Same blades that work well for the normal shave process? Or something a lot milder, or?? I've just used German Wilki's in Lord razor for buffing so far.

Thanks.

Personna Labs come to mind. I usually buff after a three pass shave and use a little homemade shave oil. What razor are you using?

I'm using a Lord razor. Forget the model, but its the "latest one." Has the aluminum handle and steel head.

I usually shave with Feathers and when I want an extra-good shave (I can't say BBS, yet, still figuring out my neck), but for a DFS buffing really works on my chin. Sometimes, for the heck of it, I do the buffing, and maybe even the ATG with my Schick G4. I love the Schick G injectors. If I didn't enjoy DE shaving so much, i might just go over to injectors all the time. I always go for the G series because that is what my father used. When he died, my mother went kind of loony for a while and threw out a bunch of his stuff including his Schick G injector.
