Blade for new razor.

Just got my hands on a Merkur 34c. Anybody have any suggestions from the following list, which blade would be a good start for the razor?? Are some more suited to some razors than others or is it purely personal preference??

I have got....

Feather, Derby, Gillette Platinum, Super + Platinum, Merkur , Wilkinson, Dorco and Nacet.

Yes, it's "purely personal preference". From that list I'd pick a Derby.

Yes, that is right. And from that list I would pick a feather or the super+ platinum.

I am a bit fearful to break a razor in with a feather, But after I am used to the feel of it, a feather is a top priority.

I'd go with either the Dorco or the Derby, since they will likely be the most forgiving if this is your first wet-shaving experience.
