Blade Dates?

Does anyone have a link telling how to date Gillette DE blades?
I found a handful of old loose blades which beloged to my grandfather today and I know they have to be pre-1992 as that is when he passed but other than that no idea of their age.

the blades are

Gillette Thin F 3

Gillettete Super Stainless G 2

Also a few old Made in England Wilkinsons

Any idea on the age of these?
Thanks

Date codes on the blades are the same as on the razors. The Thin F-3 is probably 3rd quarter of '60. The G-2 is probably 2nd quarter of '61, but could be 2nd quarter of '86; it depends on which version of stainless blade it is.

That confuses me a bit that they used the same code for two or more different years  They could have learned something from Zippo and Case pocketknives about how to create new date codes.

They made thins all the way through 1989 or so in the US, and starting in 1989 in France for the USA. Look up the patent numbers on the blade if any. You can use google patents for free........ To me this thin is probably from the 80's if it was an active razor of his.....

It would probably be the 1985 date. He bought them for his old Super Speed which he used for a few lifetimes (and I have used for ten years).
I wish he had left some unopened blades laying around......also wish I had a clue where his old Schick Injector razor went after he passed. Thankful I got the Gillette before it disappeared also.
