Blade Confusion

The Red Pack Personas and Crystals are different blades. I believe that the New Personas are Red Packs.
The Red Pack Persona blades come in a red package marked "Persona" and each blade is wrapped in a red wrapper marked Persona.
The Crystals come in a package marked "Crystal" but the blades are wrapped in a blue and white wrapper marked "Super Platinum". These also come bulk packed and in various other incarnations and are commonly called "Israeli Personas". All the blades called Israeli Personas have the blue and white wrapping.
Both blades are made in the same factory in Israel. They are similar, but it is generally acknowledged that the Israeli Personas/Crystals are sharper and the Red Pack Personas are smoother.

There's a great explanation from the West Coast Shaving owner about ASR and this topic. It keeps coming up every couple of weeks or so. If anyone can find the thread, please ask the moderator to make it a sticky. I was just looking for it and couldn't find it. I'll keep trying though.
