I just got this black tip and I can't get the discloration of the handle will CLR get it out with out removing the black?

If the black comes off ur in trouble!! The tip is all plastic so be careful what you use, i had/have similar trouble with mine ...... havent been game to use anything too strong....
Ive heard of using a brass brush to clean up knurling but never tried it - i thiought itd smash the plating.........

Also, try holding a magnet to the handle. Some of the black tip razors had steel in the handle and bottom half of the head.

Going to try the brush very lightly to see if that helps. Other than the slight discoloration on the handle it is in really good shape. And a very smooth shaver too
