Black badger?

I'd stay away, it's actually described and priced lower than Pure badger.... Plus the handles on these are molded, not lathe turned (huge difference)

I have an Omega black badger - the tips are clipped to shape the knot so its quite prickly. The bristles are also quite flexible making for a reasonably nice shave. It looks good and it was inexpensive. Overall I am glad to have one of these but I wouldn't want it as my only brush.

It will feel like you are using a prickly branch from a spruce tree to lather up with. If you're into that, that is fine, but if not the I would steer clear.

Although,... If you build lather in a bowl or cup and only 'paint' the lather on, you probably won't get the sharp hairs digging into your face.
