So my birthday came and went on the 5th and I still have yet to receive a gift from my wife because we've been moving and really didn't have a chance to celebrate. I'm going to ask for a razor, but my question isn't "which one should I get?" I was wondering, experts, if it was your birthday and you had $100 to blow, what would YOU want?

If the budget is $100, I would recommend a Mergress (modified Progress). If you can sneak it up to $165, I would suggest Feather Stainless.
I would like a Merkur 39C Slant. Just want to try out a slant.
A cased fatboy in great condition would be nice with money left over for a few Feather blades, QED soaps, and a jar of Proraso pre/post shaving cream.

I'll second the vote for one of Bob's handles. I got myself a Bull Mastiff for my birthday and since I have at least 3 different heads that it will fit, it's like having 3 new razors!

+1 more -- Bob made me one of his "Improved" handles to fit my EJ 89 head. (He even added a bit of length to his standard "Improved" handle at my request). I love the look of the razor about as much as I love the way it shaves. Plus, I enjoy using a razor that has unique characteristics. By the way, the combined cost of the razor and Bob's handle was still well below $100.

In response to Mblakele: I got myself a Murker 38c, a fantastic peice and also two different Edwin jaggers. An EJ89 which I love and an 87 because I thought the imitation Ivory looked sexy. I saved the super speed because it was my dads. It's to damaged to use however I did polish it up and now I keep it next to a picture of him by the sink.
