Birthday/Father's Day

My father has a birthday around the corner and Father's Day is near also. I want to get him a nice cream. Would u guys give me some suggestions? He is going to be 62 years old and is a business man (Do not know if that makes a difference). Give me some advice will ya guys? Also, the only two soaps that he has ever used is La Toja and Cella.

If he uses soaps but you want to try a cream, maybe some TOBS in a nice masculine scent like Eton College?

Musgo Real. My father is near 70yo and loves it :)

I wish happy b/day to your father, good health and prosperity (That's a Greek wish).

Penhaligon's. Great performance and scents. I’d suggest the Opus 1870. Not available at the Pen’s site but amazon still has it.

Easy answer La Toja or La Toja Sensitive Shave Cream, Italian Barber has the 5oz Tube for $6.99. One of three Creams I continually use, the other two are AOS Rose (I'm on my last tub & it's discontinued) and LEA Professional (this is harder to find but comes in a huge 250ml Tube).

I know I am probably the only one that will say this, but I have before and will continue to recomment the Art of Shaving Sandalwood cream. http://www.theartofshaving.com/Shav...ng-cream&navid=shaving-products-shaving-cream

great lather, great masculine scent, and a little bit goes a long way.

+1.

It's the only cream I use, and its the scent my gf demands when I actually get to see her. I gave my father the AOS Sandalwood set last year as a Father's Day/Birthday gift.

I'd consider a great UK shaving cream for a luxurious gift. T&H and Castle Forbes immediately come to my mind.

I am brand new to DE wet shaving and my stepdaughter has told me not to purchase a nice shaving mug.

I'm the same age as your dad and I'm looking forward to my gift. If your dad does not have a nice one that might make a more permanent addition to his routine.

I would say something like Taylor of Old Bond. I haven't used the other UK brands yet so I can't comment. I've had the same idea for my Dad but maybe a razor like a Parker 22R. My products are flooding the bathroom so he can use what he likes in terms of creams. Dunno if he's use it though, he doesn't seem impressed by my new hobby.
