Big Knot Lovers

So Im building a custom brush, thanks to lucky and slagle for enabling

My question is for all the large knot lovers like myself.
I currently use a rooney 1/3 which has a 26mm knot.

How big is too big?

I wouldn't mind going bigger but I don't want it to be ridiculous either.

Here is my brush in an older SOTD for reference.

Also here is my thread on deciding on silver tip or a 2 band.

You are quite welcome, again!

You won't really know if it's too big until you've used it in hand for a bit...
I like big...
I would mount it low so there is some backbone to it.

I have a two band Chubby three that's a nice brush. For me, a knot that big needs some backbone or it will splay out on my face too much. Two band helps when the knots get large.

Made a brush with a 28 mm knot, and it looks great. Have not used it, I want to sell it. But if the knot develops the same way my personal 24 mm Silvertip developed, than it will be huge!!

i feel that anything above 25mm lacks the backbone to really anything at all other than slap lather on your face.

maybe if you used pure badger though?
